Job Description

Crane Worldwide Logistics is a leader in supply chain solutions with over 130 locations across 30 countries providing individual services that address our client's logistics challenges.


The Client Services Supervisor will be responsible for leading and managing the customer service team.


The current team has 9 account coordinators who are in daily contact with the warehouse customers, process orders, organize transport, update KPI's and invoice the services provided.


Essential Job Functions

  • Organizing, coaching and guiding your team members, conducting work meetings, and focusing on continuous development and cross-training of your team.
  • Conducting result and performance appraisal discussions
  • Maintaining the customer relationship.
  • Preparation of, and presiding over, weekly review meetings with the client
  • Data-driven vision aligned with continuous improvement mindset
  • Engaging in operational/tactical discussions with customers regarding performance and daily operations.
  • Monitor productivity and quality performance.
  • Identify opportunities for improvements and participate in projects.


Physical requirements

  • Talking, hearing, and using hands to operate computer equipment.
  • Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

  • High level expertise of shipping requirements.
  • Experienced import- and export handler.
  • Familiar with incoterms.
  • Good understanding of identifying urgency.
  • Clear understanding of shipping/order priorities


Education and Direct Work experience

  • MBO+/HBO degree
  • Extensive experience in Customer Service in a B2B environment
  • Experience working in the logistics industry.
  • Experience in a leadership role in the Customer Service


CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENCES

Must have an existing right of eligibility to work in the EU
