Client Onboarding Administrator

We are currently recruiting for a Client Onboarding Administrator to join the Risk Management team of a highly regarded professional services organisation based in Northampton.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator who is looking to develop their career within Risk, Compliance and Client Onboarding, working as part of a centralised team responsible for ensuring new clients and matters are onboarded accurately, efficiently and in line with regulatory requirements.

You will act as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders and provide essential support across client and matter opening, AML, CDD, sanctions and conflict checking.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Processing new client and matter opening requests
• Reviewing file opening forms and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness
• Opening and maintaining client and matter records on internal systems
• Carrying out AML, CDD, sanctions and conflict checks
• Obtaining and reviewing relevant client verification and compliance documentation
• Identifying potential compliance concerns and escalating these appropriately
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client and compliance records
• Working closely with fee earners, secretaries and wider support teams
• Ensuring onboarding requests are completed accurately and within agreed service levels

We are looking for someone with previous administration or business support experience, combined with excellent attention to detail, organisation and data accuracy.

Ideally, you will also have some knowledge or experience of client onboarding, AML, CDD, sanctions or conflict checking.

Previous experience within a law firm, professional services, financial services or another regulated environment would be particularly advantageous.

You will be comfortable handling confidential information, following detailed procedures and managing multiple requests and deadlines while maintaining a high standard of service.
