• NJC Level 8 Points 36 - 41£23.57 per hour (FTE £46,784)
• 10hours per month year round (by negotiation)

Job Overview

We are looking for a discreet and experienced Clerk to support the Governing Board at The Westgate School. The successful candidate will have excellent organisation and communication skills together with a proactive approach.

Role- The Clerk to the Governing Board will:

• Provide advice to the governing board on governance, constitutional and procedural matters. Regulations require governing bodies to have regard to advice from the clerk in regards to exercising the governing board functions.
• Provide effective administrative support to the governing board and its committees.
• Ensure the governing board is properly constituted.
• Manage information effectively in accordance with legal requirements.
• We reserve the right tointerview as suitable applications are received.
