Clerk of Governors

Location: Pickering, North Yorkshire,Pickering Community Infant and Nursery School

Hours average as 2.33 hours per week term time only

Required from 2nd November 2026

Pickering Infant and Nursery School is a warm and friendly school held in high regard by the local community. The Governors and Head Teacher are looking to appoint a motivated, highly organised and supportive Clerk to work with our team of governors supporting the strategic development of the school. This role requires some evening working.

We are looking for an organised and efficient clerk who:

• has knowledge and experience of education and the school environment
• is highly efficient and organised
• is committed to providing high levels of knowledgeable support to the governing body
