Job Description

We are seeking a hands-on and experienced Cleaning Team Supervisor to lead our cleaning operations across industrial warehouse sites at AG-13. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial cleaning, leadership experience, and the ability to work flexibly across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate a team of up to 20 cleaning operatives
  • Ensure high standards of cleanliness and compliance with health & safety procedures
  • Monitor and report daily progress using Excel and other basic reporting tools
  • Communicate with clients via email regarding updates, additional works, and site needs
  • Operate and oversee use of industrial cleaning equipment (scrubbers, vacuums, etc.)
  • Complete documentation such as task sheets, incident reports, and quality checklists
  • Be available to travel and stay overnight in hotels when required
  • Manage cleaning schedules, delegate tasks, and ensure deadlines are met

Requirements:

  • Proven experience supervising cleaning teams in an industrial or warehouse environment
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills
  • Ability to work long shifts (12 hours) and 6-day weeks during busy periods
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Excel and email for communication and tracking
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel/stay overnight for projects
  • Good understanding of cleaning safety standards (COSHH, PPE use)
  • Right to work in the UK
