Cleaning Supervisor

About The Role:

The Cleaning Supervisor will oversee and manage the cleaning operations at The Orchard Shopping Centre, ensuring that all areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. The role involves leading a team of cleaning operatives to deliver efficient and effective service.

Shift Pattern: Tuesday to Saturday 7:00 - 15:30 (Sunday and Monday off)

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the cleaning team
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleaning standards are met
• Train and mentor new cleaning staff
• Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are maintained and used correctly
• Address or escalate any issues or complaints related to cleaning services
• Monitor inventory levels and request supplies as needed
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and guidelines
• Input to reports on cleaning activities and colleague performance
• Lead cleaning tasks as needed, especially during busy periods on site

Criteria required to be considered for the role:

• Must have right to work in the UK

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience in cleaning and waste management
• Staff management or supervising experience within a cleaning role is essential
