Job Description
Cleaning Supervisor - Temp to Perm

Witney
£14.00 per hour
Monday to Friday, 06:00am - 14:00pm (30-minute unpaid break)

We are recruiting for a Cleaning Supervisor to join a large, well-established medical company based in Witney. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering stability and progression within a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Head of Cleaning with the management and supervision of cleaning staff
  • Ensure all designated areas are cleaned thoroughly in line with schedules and checklists
  • Oversee the correct use and storage of cleaning equipment, including ride on and mechanical equipment
  • Carry out regular equipment checks and report any issues
  • Prepare staff rosters, monitor holiday leave, and maintain adequate staffing levels
  • Manage stock ordering and conduct monthly stock takes
  • Perform regular quality checks throughout shifts, ensuring high standards are maintained
  • Provide hands on support and training to team members where required
  • Ensure timesheets are completed and submitted to Payroll on time
Compliance & Standards
  • Adhere to all Health & Safety regulations and Fire Policy
  • Report hazards promptly to management
  • Follow company/client procedures when handling customer feedback or complaints
  • Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and uniform presentation
  • Comply with strict site guidelines and procedures
  • Participate in training to continuously improve performance
  • Proactively suggest improvements and take corrective action where needed
  • Carry out any other reasonable duties as requested by management
What We're Looking For
  • Previous supervisory experience in cleaning or facilities management
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills
  • A hands on, proactive approach
  • Good understanding of health and safety practices
