Domestic Working Supervisor Part-Time (Weekend) Fixed Term Contract
Location: St Charles Hospital, London
Hours: 15 per week (Saturday & Sunday)
Pay: £15.46 per hour + enhanced weekend rates
Contract: Fixed-term (3 months)

About the Role
We're looking for a proactive Domestic Working Supervisor to lead and support our cleaning team at St Charles Hospital. You'll play a vital role in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for patients and staff, ensuring compliance with NHS cleaning standards and health & safety regulations.
This is a hands-on supervisory role where you'll combine leadership with practical cleaning duties, audits, and training to deliver exceptional service.
What You'll Do
Supervise and support the domestic team to deliver high-quality cleaning services.
Ensure compliance with NHS standards, COSHH, and Health & Safety requirements.
Carry out cleaning audits, maintain records, and manage stock orders.
Train and develop team members on cleaning techniques and equipment use.
Perform specialist cleaning tasks, including floor maintenance and deep cleans.
Liaise with tenants, contractors, and service users to resolve day-to-day issues.
What We're Looking For
Qualifications: City & Guilds Level 2 in Cleaning and Support Services (or equivalent experience).
Experience: Supervisory experience in domestic services, ideally in a healthcare setting.
Skills: Knowledge of Health & Safety, COSHH, and cleaning standards; practical experience with floor maintenance and equipment (scrubbers/dryers).
Strong communication and organisational skills.
