Cleaning Operative - Newbridge Integrated College

Mount Charles Group, one of the largest Irish providers of facilities management, catering, and ancillary services, seeks a Cleaning Operative to support the maintenance of Newbridge Integrated College in Banbridge.

Working Pattern

• 17.5 hours per week
• Monday to Friday, 15 30

The Role

• Deliver high quality cleaning services across offices, meeting rooms, toilets, and other areas.
• Respond promptly and politely to customer requests and perform duties professionally.
• Replenish consumables and maintain cleanliness of equipment.
• Follow company procedures and regulations, including Health & Safety policies.
• Conduct regular checks of cleaning equipment and report defects to the line manager.
• Ensure all areas are presented clean and tidy at all times.
• Comply with health, safety, and hygiene standards.

The Person

• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• NVQ/SVQ Level One in Cleaning Building Interiors is an advantage but not essential.
• Previous customer service work experience.
• Current BICS qualifications.
• Basic reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills to understand safety instructions and communicate with customers.
