About Us
AM Surveying & Block Management is a trusted provider of Block Management and Building Surveying services across London and the South East. We offer a range of in-house property maintenance services to our clients and are now looking for a skilled Cleaning Operative to join our dedicated team.
Introduction to the Role
We're seeking a motivated individual who can add value to our operations and grow with the business. As a Cleaning Operative, you'll work closely with our Property Management and On-Site Services teams, delivering high-quality cleaning services across multiple sites. Duties include general cleaning, scheduled deep cleans, and waste removal-carried out with professionalism, care, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
Perform scheduled cleaning tasks at residential blocks and estates
Handle waste removal and occasional deep cleans
Collect equipment and job briefings from HQ weekly
Use a company van to travel to sites across Kent and London
Update job progress using a company-issued smartphone/tablet
Work independently and within a small team
Represent AM professionally on all sites
Experience & Qualifications
We're looking for someone who:
Has several years of experience in the cleaning industry
Demonstrates excellent cleaning standards and knowledge of cleaning products
Shows great attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
Is adaptable, dependable, and takes pride in their work
Has excellent communication and organisational skills
Presents themselves in a professional and friendly manner
Is fluent in spoken and written English
Holds a full UK driving licence and is confident navigating Kent and London
