Location: Rugby (Industrial Site)

Job Type: Temporary to Permanent

Pay Rate: £14.36 per hour (PAYE)

Hours: 35 hours per week

Shift Pattern:

• Tuesday to Friday: 08:00 - 15:30
• Saturday: 08:30 - 13:30
• Sunday & Monday: Days off

The Role

We are currently recruiting for a Cleaning Operative / FLT Driver to work at a large industrial production site. This is a hands on role combining cleaning, stock movement, and forklift operation, supporting the smooth day to day running of the site.

This position offers a temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out cleaning duties across production, welfare, and communal areas
• Operate cleaning equipment including scrubber dryers and sweepers
• Respond to spillages and maintain hygiene standards across site
• Safely operate a forklift truck (FLT) in line with site procedures
• Load, unload, and transport pallets, goods, and materials
• Support stock control, including replenishing fridges and PPE areas
• Assist with general portering and movement of items across site
• Follow all site health & safety procedures at all times
• Complete equipment checks and report any defects

Requirements

Essential:

• Valid FLT Licence
• Experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or industrial environment
• Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling tasks
• Ability to follow instructions and work safely

Desirable:

• Previous cleaning experience
• Experience within a production or industrial environment
• Good communication and teamwork skills

• This role will involve both cleaning and FLT duties daily
• Flexibility may be required to cover holidays and sickness
• Candidates must be reliable and able to work to strict site standards
