Cleaning Manager - 12 month FTC Good Enough College - London £36,999 per annum

ESS Is seeking an experienced and dynamic Cleaning Manager to lead our cleaning team. This role is integral to ensuring the efficient and effective operation of one of our Government service sites based in London. As the Cleaning Manager, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality services, managing a diverse team, and maintaining the highest standards of customer satisfaction and hygiene.

Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Promotinga safety culture and ensure the cleaning team are aware of and operate in accordance with company and client Health & Safety procedures
  • To manage the cleaning labour, equipment & resources budget
  • To ensure the cleaning operation continually improves
  • To ensure the Cleaning team are engaged and managed effectively
  • To manage our on site Accommodation services, responsible for on site bookings
  • To ensure the delivery and quality of the cleaning operation is in accordance with the client service level agreement and company procedures
  • To manage any third-party suppliers or contractors as required ensuring they meet or exceed the agreed service level agreements
Our ideal Cleaning Manager will:
  • 12 Months experience managing a cleaning operation
  • Proven ability to develop business through sound negotiation, change management, strategic decision making and 'out of the box' thinking.
  • Proven ability to deliver quality customer service and ensure issues are effectively resolved in a timely manner
  • Excellent financial management skills, particularly the preparation and monitoring of detailed budgets and cash flow projections.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to work to time sensitive deadlines
  • Have the passion to drive innovation and continue to improve services
