Job Description

Hours of work: 10 hours per week (Part time). Working pattern: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 5 pm-7 pm (or as agreed) and Tuesday 5:45-7:45 pm.

Annual (pro rata) salary approx. £6,701.

Responsibilities

• Daily cleaning of all areas of the school including classrooms, offices, staff rooms, library, corridors, toilets, and intervention spaces.
• Manage stocks of cleaning supplies and advise the caretaker when new supplies are required.
• Perform lifting, bending and stretching to move furniture, cleaning equipment and other articles to clean effectively.
• Carry out deep cleans during school holidays.
• Lock up and provide out of hours access to the school when required.

Key Skills & Requirements

• Work independently without supervision.
• Work on your own or as part of a team.
• Ensure the school is cleaned to a high standard.
• Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage.

The school will ensure that the successful candidate is not disqualified under the Childcare Disqualification Regulations 2018. A self declaration form will be completed as part of the pre employment checks process. If a candidate is found to be disqualified, the offer of employment will be subject to the application for a waiver and receipt of a waiver from Ofsted.
