Cleaner

Location: West Belfast Hours: 16 hours per week

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 3:35pm - 6:40pm

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking cleaner to join our team in a busy school environment in West Belfast. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the school premises, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for pupils, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices, toilets, and communal areas.
• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting as required.
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately.
• Restocking cleaning and hygiene supplies.
• Following health and safety procedures at all times.
• Reporting any maintenance or health and safety concerns to the appropriate person.

Essential Criteria

• Previous cleaning experience is essential.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleaning standards.
• Reliable, trustworthy, and punctual.

Safeguarding Requirements

As this role is based within a school environment, the successful applicant must be willing to obtain an Enhanced Access NI check prior to commencing employment.
