Job Title: Support Worker

Salary: £16 - £18/hour

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Rehabilitation Assistant to support an individual with cerebral palsy in a home-based setting. This role focuses on promoting independence and quality of life through personalised, person-centred support.

Working Hours (4 week rolling rota)

• Week 1 - 20 hours
• Week 2 - 21 hours
• Week 3 - 23 hours
• Week 4 - 20 hours

Total Monthly Hours: 84 hours

Key Responsibilities

• Support mobility, positioning, and daily routines in line with care plans.
• Assist with physiotherapy exercises and encourage participation in everyday activities.
• Provide personal care where required, ensuring dignity and respect at all times.
• Offer emotional support and companionship, helping to build confidence.
• Monitor and record any changes, maintain clear documentation, and support communication with family and professionals.
• Assist with light household tasks, meal preparation, and attend appointments or social activities.

Requirements

• A valid UK driving licence is required.
• Previous experience in care or support work is desirable but not essential. Good communication and IT skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A patient, reliable, and respectful approach is essential.
