Job description

Smile Education are recruiting for a school cleaner to join our team for a secondary school in Redditch, working 3:00pm - 6:00pm, Monday to Friday.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Vacuuming carpeted areas
• Sweeping / mopping hard floors
• Emptying and cleaning bins
• Spot cleaning any spillages or accidents as required
• Wiping down desks, seats and skirting boards
• Cleaning school toilet areas and replenishing toiletries
• Cleaning doors and windows
• Checking stock levels of cleaning materials
• Reporting hazards to the caretaker or supervisor

What to expect from applicants?

• Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of cleaning standards
• Previous experience in cleaning or a similar role is preferred but not essential
• Ability to complete all allocated tasks within set working hours
• Ability to understand and follow health & safety instructions
