Job Introduction

We are seeking a dedicated Site-Based Cleaning Operative to join our team at The Framwell, Framwell Gate, Durham DH1 5SU. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining high standards of cleanliness across the site. Your efforts will directly contribute to the health, hygiene and comfort of the residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Focus on the details and complete scheduled cleaning tasks.
• Periodic deep cleaning of certain areas, as instructed by a supervisor.
• Ensure all areas, including kitchens, toilets and communal areas, are cleaned and presentable.
• Replenish stock and consumables such as toilet tissue and hand soap.
• Work closely with the security team, reporting any faults or hazards and maintaining the cleanliness of their areas.

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience in a similar role with knowledge of cleaning solutions.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work at a fast pace and adapt to change when needed.
• Team player who takes instruction.
