Job Description

Job Reference: NWM/718

Hours: Part Time - 30 hours per week

Work Pattern: Monday - Friday 6:00 AM - 12:30 PM

Salary: £25,134 per annum (full time rate, pro rata for part time)

Location: Norwich and North Walsham

Driving Licence: Essential (use of company vehicle)

Key Responsibilities
  • General cleaning - sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, polishing, and sanitising floors, surfaces, windows, mirrors, fixtures and fittings.
  • Waste management - emptying bins and disposing of waste safely and correctly.
  • Cleaning and restocking toilets, kitchens, break areas and communal spaces.
  • Use of cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, buffers and pressure washers.
  • Travel between sites (offices, public buildings, void properties, independent living schemes) to provide cleaning cover.
  • Accurate logging of work completed and prompt reporting of hazards, maintenance issues or damaged equipment.
  • Completion of required checklists and records.
Essential Skills & Requirements
  • Valid driving licence - required for travelling between sites in a company vehicle.
  • Health & Safety awareness, including PPE use, risk assessments and infection control.
  • Ability to work in accordance with COSHH regulations and safely store chemicals.
  • Basic IT skills to complete digital checklists and online training.
  • Professional and helpful attitude when working with staff, clients and visitors.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
