About The Role

Monday - Friday 17:00 - 18:30

Hourly Rate - £12.71

Location: Pontypool, NP4 0JL

Due to the location of the site and limited access via public transport, candidates must have a valid driving licence and access to a vehicle or alternative means of reliable transport.

We are looking to recruit a Cleaner at our client's premises. We want someone who wants to make a difference in their working environment and feel proud about the work they do. If this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you!

What you'll be doing
  • Dedicate your time on site to going the extra mile and seamlessly meeting the needs of our clients.
  • Induct and train during the first week to learn the cleaning specification and use the equipment.
  • Provide a high standard of customer care across differing shift hours.
  • Handle site based equipment and cleaning materials (full training provided).
  • Replenish consumables such as paper towels, soap, toilet paper and bin liners.
  • Empty all litter bins into the appropriate waste & recycling containers.
  • Ensure cleaning is completed to the highest standards at all times.
  • Maintain health and safety standards at all times.
  • Work within a team that goes the extra mile.

  • Local to the area.
  • Attitude to thrive and willingness to learn; cleaning experience is an advantage but you can be trained from scratch if you match our positive approach.
  • Ability to carry out the physical aspects of the role.
  • Basic level of spoken English for safety communication and interacting with the public.
  • Good social skills to deliver service with a smile.
  • Right to work in the UK (please bring evidence to the interview).
