Description

Priory Hospital Newbury is looking to recruit a Cleaner to join our team. We are looking for 2 part-time cleaners to join the team working 29 hours and 23 hours per week.

You don't need previous experience - just a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn. We are happy to discuss your preferences for working days and hours, with shifts typically available between 7am-5pm, Monday to Sunday. Priory Hospital Newbury, located Berkshire, is a level 2 rehabilitation service which supports male adults with mental health needs, who are working towards a life back in the community. It also offers excellent transport links.

What you'll be doing

• Maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment across the site
• Following cleaning schedules and Priory standards
• Using cleaning equipment safely and effectively
• Reporting maintenance issues, damage, or hazards
• Working as part of a team to deliver a high quality service
• Supporting colleagues where required

What you'll bring to the role

• Good standard of English, with basic numeracy and literacy skills
• Previous cleaning experience is helpful but not essential - full training will be provided
• Reliable with a strong work ethic
• Good attention to detail
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical stamina to carry out an active role throughout the day
