Classroom Assistant (Term time)

The Royal School, Armagh is seeking to appoint a Classroom Assistant to provide targeted support to pupils with Special Educational Needs during lessons and wider school activities.

Working closely with class teachers and the SENCO, the successful candidate will support individual pupils and small groups to access the curriculum, manage behaviour positively, and develop confidence, independence and engagement in learning. The role requires a caring, flexible and proactive approach, with the ability to adapt support to meet pupils' changing needs.

This is a term-time position of up to 32 hours per week, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to pupil wellbeing and academic progress within a supportive school environment. Applicants should have a good general education, experience of working with children, and a commitment to safeguarding and inclusion.
