CLASS TEACHER REQUIRED FOR SEPTEMBER 2026 SALARY: MAIN SCALE/UPR: £32,916 - £51,048, dependent upon experience

The Governors at St Patrick's Catholic Primary School are looking to appoint an experienced, highly motivated and creative teacher, who prefers to be a practising Catholic, to join our happy, friendly school and cheerfully uphold our Catholic Mission. The appointment would suit an ambitious and innovative practitioner who would like to be involved in the next stage of the school's development. St. Patrick's is committed to continuous professional development to support career progression. Candidates should have a passion for developing outstanding practice in teaching and learning.

St. Patrick's recent Inspection (February 2026) stated "Staff at all levels put the pupils at the heart of what they do" and "Pupils enjoy their learning".

Responsibilities and Qualifications
  • Strong support for the Catholic ethos of our school
  • Demonstrate excellent teaching and learning and use assessment to inform next steps in learning.
  • Demonstrate high expectations of children's achievement and behaviour
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Ability to contribute significantly across Key Stage One or Key Stage Two
  • Ideally has experience of teaching RE in a Catholic school
  • Work in partnership with staff, governors, parents and the wider community
