Class 2_Cat C HGV Drivers

Location: Various local clients
Pay: £15.00-£18.90 per hour
Start times: From 7:00am

Driver Hire is currently recruiting Class 2 HGV Drivers for ongoing work across a variety of local clients.

Assignments can vary, giving you the opportunity to build experience across different routes, customers, and delivery environments.

• Local/Regional deliveries and collections
• Driving a Class 2 vehicle safely and professionally
• Completing daily vehicle checks
• Bulk deliveries with forklifted at either end
• Ensuring paperwork and delivery notes are completed accurately
• Providing excellent customer service while representing Driver Hire and our clients
• Following all road transport and health and safety regulations
• Start times are typically from 7:00am, depending on the client and assignment

• A valid Category C / Class 2 HGV licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
• Minimum 1 year's Class 2 driving experience (due to insurance requirements)
• Be aged 25 or over (due to insurance requirements)
• Good knowledge of driver hours and working time regulations
• A professional, reliable, and flexible approach
• Good communication and customer service skills
