Pertemps Crewe are currently recruiting a Class 2 Driver to join a well known client based in Runcorn. This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for ongoing work with the potential for a temp-to-perm position.

The role as the Class 2 Driver:

As a Class 2 Driver, you will be delivering home furniture and household items to customers. You will be supported by a Driver's Mate to assist with deliveries.

Your duties as the Class 2 Driver:

• Driving a box-sided Class 2 vehicle

• Delivering items such as sofas, wardrobes and other household furniture

• Carrying out manual handling as part of deliveries

• Occasionally collecting faulty or returned furniture

• Completing around 20 drops per day

• Using tail lifts and occasionally ladders when required

Requirements of the Class 2 Driver:

• A valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence

• Full UK Driving Licence

• CPC Qualification

• Digital Tachograph Card

• Availability to work weekends

Pay & Working Hours:

• Pay Rate: £16.91 per hour (up to £33.82 depending on hours worked)

• Shift Pattern: 4 on / 2 off rotation

• Start Times: Between 05:00 - 08:00

• Average Shift Length: Around 11 hours

• Location: Runcorn
