As a Class 2 ADR Cylinder Driver - Roaming, you will operate from Exeter across various South West depots, delivering goods while staying in provided hotels. This temporary role offers £18.85 per hour for a guaranteed 42.5-hour week, with overtime and weekend rates at £28.28, plus a £25 daily roaming bonus. Shifts run Monday to Friday, roughly 7am to 5pm, with some weekend work on a rota. Key duties involve cylinder handling and ADR compliance. • Rates are PAYE, 28 days holiday per year which increase with length of service.

Bonuses:

Shifts:

• Monday to Friday with some weekend shifts on a rota basis.
• The hours of work will be around the hours of 7am - 5pm.
• Some overtime is required.

Regional work:

• The role will involve staying in hotels and working at different depots across the South West region.
• Travelling time to depots from your home location paid, mileage (45p per mile), hotels provided plus meal allowances.

Responsibilities:

• Delivering exceptional customer service.

• Manual handling of Gas cylinders

Requirements:

• Valid Cat C driving licence
• Digi card
• DCPC card
• ADR licence in class 2 in packages
• Familiarity with drivers hours legislation and tachographs.
• Successful candidates require a DBS check.

Details:

• New / inexperienced drivers who hold the relevant licences will be considered.
• The role is due to start immediately and is an ongoing position.
• For insurance purposes, you must have relevant HGV experience, should have no more than 6 points on your licence, and no DD or DR convictions in the last year.
