Class 1 Shunter Driver

At Gist, part of the M&S Group, we're looking for experienced Class 1 Shunter Drivers to join our team at Clonshaugh, helping us keep M&S stores supplied every day.

You'll have regular work, consistent hours, a modern fleet and the benefits that come with being part of the wider M&S family - all backed by a transport team that knows how important our drivers are to the operation.

The role at a glance

• Pay: 28.39 per hour + premium payments where applicable
• Location: Clonshaugh
• Experience: Minimum 18 months' Class 1 driving experience

• Hours: 40
• Rota: Wednesday to Saturday
• Start times: 19:00 - 05:00

Additional shift premiums may apply depending on your working pattern.

What You'll Be Doing

Shunting

A key role supporting the smooth running of the site and ensuring trailers are positioned safely and efficiently.

• Moving trailers around the yard and site safely
• Positioning trailers for loading and unloading
• Supporting transport and warehouse operations on site
• Maintaining safe working standards at all times

You'll Need What we're looking for

• A valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
• A minimum of 18 months' Class 1 driving experience
• Valid Driver CPC
• A driving record that meets our internal safety and compliance standards
• A professional and safety-focused approach
• A reliable, team-focused attitude
• Confidence with manual handling where required
