Class 1 HGV Driver / Mechanic

S S Motors (Fuels) Limited require a HGV Mechanic / Driver to maintain our fleet of Volvo and DAF fuel tankers and Ford Transit Connect boiler engineers vans.

We are a family owned and operated company that have been established since 1966.

Working times are Monday - Friday, 8 am to 4.30 pm.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £33,000 - £38,000.00 per year

Class 1 or 2 servicing and repair experience is desirable but not essential.

Workwear is provided.

On site parking.

Duties

Manage the transport workshop activities, with occasional tanker driving, and other activities when required.

Carry out in-house vehicle maintenance, ready vehicles for MOT's and conduct routine servicing and inspections.

Other ad hoc duties around the site as required

Qualifications & Training

HGV 1 licence essential

Light and Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair experience (preferred)
