Class 1 driver Tramper - Scunthorpe

We're working with a busy transport company looking for an experiencedTrampersto join their team. This role involvestramping Monday to Fridayand requires drivers to be comfortabledriving in London.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate a truck to various locations
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
• Deliver unattended trailers to locations
• Inspect the truck before and after each trip to ensure it is in good working condition
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays
• Communicate with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues

Required Skills and Experience

• C+E licence entitlement, valid CPC and Digital Tachograph
• No more than 6 points on your licence (no DD or major endorsements)
• Proven experience as a truck driver
• Ability to operate various types of trucks
• Strong knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety protocols
• Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries
