HGV 1 Driver Warrington

Pertemps are looking for an experienced HGV Driver / LGV1 Driver / Class 1 Driver / C E Driver to join our client's busy depot based in Warrington. This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing, regular work all year round, with competitive PAYE rates.

Location: Warrington
Pay rates: From £21.44 to £24.57 per hour (PAYE)
Hours: 10 - 12-hour duties
Job Type: Regular, Ongoing

Your new HGV Driver / LGV1 Driver / Class 1 Driver / C E Driver role will include:

• Safely loading and unloading cages of letters and parcels
• Working with both single and double-deck trailers, with some pushing and pulling involved
• Average 10 - 12hour shifts
• Various start times as this is a 24-hour operation
• Weekend work is also required for this role

What we're looking for in a HGV Driver / LGV1 Driver / Class 1 Driver / C E Driver:

• Minimum 2 years' HGV Class 1 driving experience, with recent Class 1 work within the last 6 months
• A valid C E licence, CPC card, and digital tachograph card
• A maximum of 6 penalty points (no major endorsements)
