The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Nottingham area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers (CAT C) to join the team. New pass welcome!

Shifts: Shifts run across Monday to Sunday

Hours: Start time: 22:00pm - 23:59pm

Pay Rate:

• Nights - £17.92 per hour

Location: Nottingham - NG16 3UA

Job Type: Ongoing with the opportunity for permanent

The role

• Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to and from sub depots and delivery units.
• Handling runs with 1-5 delivery stops, focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.
• Utilise tail lift and pump truck equipment for loading and unloading.
• Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.
• Empty the vehicle and refuel at the end of each shift.
• Complete a theory and practical assessment to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards and then complete a few days paid training if assessment is successful.

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement
• Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Full understanding of WTD legislation.
• Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A safety-first mindset.
