Pay: £19.61 - £21.29 per hour (including holiday pay)

Resolve Recruitment Services are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) HGV Drivers for an excellent opportunity based in Heywood. This is an ongoing role with a well-established client, offering regular work, competitive rates of pay, and the opportunity to join a busy and professional transport operation.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday
• Day and Night shifts available
• No tramping
• Average of 50 hours per week
• Overtime available

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects promptly.
• Ensure all loads are correctly secured before departure.
• Complete trunking and multi-drop deliveries safely, efficiently, and in accordance with drivers' hours regulations.
• Deliver excellent customer service at delivery points.
• Complete all relevant delivery paperwork and obtain customer signatures.
• Follow all road traffic legislation, health and safety procedures, and company policies.

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) Driving Licence.
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous Class 1 driving experience.
• Ability to lift up to 18kg when required.
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
• Reliable, flexible, and committed to providing a high standard of service.
