Job overviewAre you a seasoned leader with a strong background in insurance, procurement, or supply chain management? We're looking for a Claims Supply Chain Director to shape and drive our claims supply chain strategy, leading a talented team to deliver exceptional results. Key responsibilities- Lead and develop a team of supply chain experts to support claims operations and customer needs.
- Collaborate across departments to define and execute strategic supply chain plans.
- Oversee supplier selection, negotiation, and contracts to ensure resilient solutions.
- Drive continuous improvement in supplier performance and operational efficiency.
- Manage budgets and deliver cost savings while maintaining high service standards.
- Build strong relationships with internal teams and external partners.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory policies and AXA governance standards.
- Provide strategic insights on market developments to enhance our propositions.
AXA promotes flexible working. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Flexible arrangements are possible and can be discussed with Talent Acquisition.
Your skills & experience- Proven leadership experience, including time at senior management level.
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- In depth knowledge of the UK insurance market and legislative environment.
- Ability to develop and implement strategic plans.
- Experience managing complex supplier relationships and contracts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead change and influence at senior levels.
- A relevant qualification such as MCIPS or equivalent experience.
As a precondition of employment, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
Note: This role is a Senior Management Function under the SM&CR regime, subject to enhanced background screening requirements.
