Location: Ingliston - Edinburgh
The Business currently operates a 4-day per week arrangement with staff starting at 8am and finishing at 5pm. The benefit of this is a healthier work-life balance, and an extra day off per week as personal time without compromising on salary.

We have an exciting opportunity available as a Claims Manager within the Edinburgh & The Lothians Agency
About the role:
As Claims Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality claims service and delivering best customer claims outcomes for the agency on behalf of the UK's leading Rural Insurer. Our business has a local track record for delivering an excellent end-to-end service where quality and professionalism is key. The successful candidate will liaise with clients, loss adjustors, claims handlers and underwriters. You will have a delegated authority to pay claims covered by policies up to a certain amount and will play a key part on the service package we offer.
About you:
The successful candidate should ideally have prior experience handling a wide range of insurance claims, but not essential and be familiar with claims management tools, CRM tools, and proficient with Outlook, Word & Excel. You should be technically minded and capable of investigating claims on their own individual merits while being able to manage sensitive and sometimes difficult conversations.
As an individual, you should thrive on building relationships with clients and team members alike. You'll have the confidence to guide less experienced members of the team around you and you'll look to increase their skill set in the claims department.
The role is based in the office so it would be highly desirable that you can commute to the office here at Ingliston.
