Claims Client Manager (Real Estate)

A growing insurance broking organisation is seeking an experienced Claims Client Manager to join its UK Real Estate team. This is a client-facing role, managing a portfolio of commercial property clients, delivering high-quality claims services, and ensuring strong relationships with insurers, loss adjusters, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end claims for a portfolio of commercial clients, including large or sensitive claims.
- Provide advice on policy coverage, documentation requirements, and claims processes.
- Negotiate with insurers to achieve fair and cost-effective settlements.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, insurers, and loss adjusters.
- Conduct periodic portfolio reviews and provide management information as required.
- Support tenders and client presentations, demonstrating the claims proposition.
- Maintain accurate records, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and regulatory standards.
- Participate in insurer relationship meetings and contribute to service improvement initiatives.
Skills & Experience:
- Strong commercial insurance claims experience, preferably in property or real estate.
- Knowledge of commercial insurance policies claims procedures, and risk management principles.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Strong communication skills, able to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
- Well-organised, able to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines without compromising quality.
- Competent in Microsoft Office and internal claims systems.
- CII qualifications required (or willingness to take out the relevant classes).
- Understanding of regulatory controls and compliance requirements.
Ideal Candidate:
A proactive, client-focused claims professional with a strong commercial insurance background within Real Estate or Property who is motivated to develop further through formal CII learning and hands-on experience.
