Citrix Engineer

Citrix Operations Engineer - London (Onsite Preferred) Contract: Until March 2026

Location: London (onsite ideally 5 days/week)
On-Call: 1 week in 12

We're looking for an experienced Citrix Operations Engineer to join a global financial organisation, supporting a mission-critical Citrix platform used by 12,000+ users worldwide.
You'll play a key role in maintaining and optimising the Citrix estate - including Delivery Controllers, StoreFront, NetScaler (ADC/Gateway), PVS/MCS, App Layering, and ControlUp - while contributing to projects such as Trader VDI rollout and Cloud VDI adoption.

What You'll Do

• Provide operational support, monitoring, and troubleshooting for global Citrix environments.
• Maintain platform performance and stability across multiple datacentres.
• Support imaging, provisioning, and configuration management.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and participate in an on-call rota (1 week in 12).

What You'll Bring

• Strong hands-on experience with Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops (CVAD).
• Expertise in StoreFront, Delivery Controller, NetScaler (ADC/Gateway), PVS/MCS, App Layering.
• Solid Windows Server, AD/GPO, and performance troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in large-scale or regulated environments (financial services a plus).
• Knowledge of ControlUp, PowerShell, Terraform, or Ansible desirable.
