This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, hyperbaric trained, enthusiastic and motivated nurse to join the senior nursing team within the Critical Care Unit at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary and to lead nursing within the Hyperbaric service.

Aberdeen Hyperbaric Medicine Unit provides a national service for the whole of Scotland, treating both elective and emergency patients.

We are looking for a dynamic individual with excellent clinical skills and strong leadership abilities to lead the nursing team in providing a high quality service. As lead nurse for this service, you will have the ability to shape future service development and have an impact on care provision. You should possess excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills, be forward thinking, and eager to develop your own clinical and management skills while fostering the development of others.

The post holder will primarily work Monday to Friday day duty, with some on call responsibility that may involve weekend and night duty.
