Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, innovative and highly motivated healthcare professional to join our well established resuscitation services team on a temporary or secondment basis for a period of six months.

As this post is being offered as a secondment, if you are a current NHS Grampian employee please ensure you seek permission from your current line manager to agree to the secondment in principle prior to submitting your application.

This temporary post offers an excellent chance for someone considering a future move into a teaching role, providing invaluable experience and professional development in a supportive environment.

We are seeking applicants who have a genuine passion for resuscitation and a keen interest in teaching. The role requires individuals who are motivated, dynamic, and able to work both independently and as part of the team. Flexibility is essential, as duties may be required throughout NHS Grampian.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Current NMC registration or equivalent.
  • Substantial recent experience within an acute clinical setting or an equivalent recognised clinical sub speciality.
  • Previous resuscitation teaching experience is desirable.
Working Hours

Monday to Friday.

Additional Information

As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part time hours will be reduced pro rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
