Children's TM - Assessment Team - Birmingham

Join our dynamic Children's Assessment Team in Birmingham as a Qualified Social Worker. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and families in our community. In this role, you will be at the forefront of assessing the needs of children and young people, ensuring their safety and well-being while working collaboratively with families, schools, and other agencies.

• Conducting thorough assessments of children's needs and risks in a timely manner.
• Developing and implementing effective care plans in collaboration with families and relevant stakeholders.
• Providing support, guidance, and intervention to families to enhance their capacity to care for their children.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, reports, and case management documentation.
• Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to strategy discussions.

• A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent).
• Registration with Social Work England.
• Proven experience in children's social work, particularly in assessment and intervention.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
• Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities.
