About the Role

The role of the Systems Support Team is central to service delivery and improvement by developing the network of system support teams "super users" and supporting key stakeholders with the various systems; they will investigate, record and solve problems, offer training and guidance for the benefit of the service, Trust, Council and the children of Bradford and their families. Additionally, the System Support Officer will support the preparation linked to regulatory inspections such as Ofsted, ILACS and CQC, ensuring that IT systems, data and reporting requirements are met.

You'll also:
  • Support the System Leads to deliver continuous service improvements and meet Children's Services and legislative requirements.
  • Work with leadership teams and stakeholders to improve practice and promote high performance.
  • Produce reports, analyse data, and provide system insights.
  • Support system users, super users, managers, and external partners across Children's Services systems.
  • Investigate and resolve system issues, identifying opportunities for service improvement.
  • Contribute to quality assurance, audits, and practice improvement initiatives.
  • Support preparations for inspections (e.g. Ofsted, ILACS, CQC), including system, data, and reporting requirements.
  • Ensure system use complies with GDPR, practice standards, and business continuity requirements.
  • Maintain knowledge of system developments and new functionality through supplier training.
  • Deliver and support training programmes for users, ensuring content remains effective and up to date.
To be successful in this role you will need:
  • We are specifically looking for applicants who have experience in this field with the knowledge of the specific systems or similar and qualified to NVQ Level 2 in Business & Admin (or demonstrable skills to this level); you will have knowledge of delivering training that maximise learning and development; with a knowledge and understanding of social work practice.
