Overview

Join our dynamic Family Solutions Team in Oxfordshire as a Children's Social Worker, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of children and families in our community. In this position, you will work collaboratively with families, partner agencies, and stakeholders to provide holistic support and interventions tailored to individual needs. Your expertise will help empower families to thrive and navigate challenges effectively.

Responsibilities
  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
  • Developing and implementing tailored care plans in partnership with families.
  • Providing ongoing support and guidance to families, ensuring they have access to appropriate resources.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policies.
  • Attending court proceedings and presenting cases as required.
  • Collaborating with multi-agency teams to promote the best outcomes for children.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Qualified Social Worker status with a valid Social Work England registration.
  • A degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience in children's social work, particularly in assessment and intervention.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with families and stakeholders.
  • Sound knowledge of child protection legislation and safeguarding practices.
