Children's SW - Family Safeguarding Team - Peterborough

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Children's Social Worker to join our Family Safeguarding Team in Peterborough. This is an exciting opportunity for qualified social workers who are committed to making a positive impact on the lives of children and families. In this role, you will be responsible for safeguarding vulnerable children, conducting assessments, and implementing care plans to ensure the wellbeing of children in need.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
• Developing and implementing effective intervention plans to safeguard children.
• Working collaboratively with families and other professionals to achieve positive outcomes.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with statutory requirements.
• Participating in team meetings and contributing to the development of best practices.

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

• A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
• Registered with Social Work England.
• Experience in child protection and safeguarding.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and manage a diverse caseload.
