Children's SW - Family Safeguarding Team - Cambridgeshire

Join our dedicated Family Safeguarding Team in Cambridgeshire as a Children's Social Worker! We are seeking passionate and committed professionals to make a difference in the lives of children and families. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing the needs of children and families, developing and implementing child protection plans, and working collaboratively with multi-agency teams to ensure the safety and well-being of vulnerable children.

• Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify risks and needs.
• Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals.
• Monitoring and reviewing the progress of children and families, ensuring timely interventions.
• Providing support and guidance to families to promote positive parenting and family dynamics.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with statutory requirements.

• A relevant social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
• Registered with Social Work England.
• Experience working in children's social care, particularly in safeguarding.
• Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound judgments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building relationships.
