Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children's Duty & Assessment Team in Warwickshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for professionals who are committed to safeguarding children and enhancing their welfare. You will play a pivotal role in assessing the needs of children and families, ensuring that they receive the appropriate support and intervention.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families in need of support.
  • Developing and implementing effective intervention plans to address identified risks.
  • Collaborating with various agencies, including schools, health services, and community organizations, to ensure a holistic approach to child welfare.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with local and national guidelines.
  • Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to child protection conferences.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, CQSW, or equivalent).
  • Registered with Social Work England.
  • Experience in children's social work, particularly in duty and assessment settings.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding practices.
