Job Description
I f you have a level 3 NVQ in Residential Childcare we are offering a £1,000 WELCOME BONUS to our new Team Leader recruits (subject to terms). We have 4 children's homes in and close to Shrewsbury. You will need to demonstrate a proven track record of supervisory experience in children's residential care and an awareness of child protection & safeguarding. We provide a competitive salary and unbeatable on-the-job and formal training. Full enhanced DBS check will be undertaken if you are successful. Successful candidates will be responsible, compassionate, caring, hard working and qualified as stipulated above.
General description You will be expected to provide high quality care throughout the day and occasional sleep ins for 4-5 children/young people in one of our homes in/near Shrewsbury. You will be in charge of running the shift including dispensing medication. It will include supporting our young people physically and emotionally. The main function of this role is the responsibility to provide a safe, nurturing environment, ensuring the best possible care to our young people. A valid UK driving license is essential and you will be required to drive children (e.g. to school).
