Job Description
Team Leader - Children's Residential Care

Location: Willow Bank, Kendal

Salary: £33,149 - £36,363 (39 hours per week) Plus: Sleep in payments of £68.25 per night (approx. £3,276 per year based on 1 per week over 48 weeks)

Our client are a 52 week specialist therapeutic centre with on?site education, supporting children aged 6-12 who have experienced trauma, abuse and neglect. Their approach is rooted in therapeutic care, stability and a nurturing family ethos.

They are now recruiting a Team Leader for a 5 bed children's home in Kendal.

What We're Looking For

Applicants must have relevant experience and hold NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent), plus:

  • Strong understanding of therapeutic care
  • Experience planning activities for children and adults
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Confident administrative and organisational abilities
  • Experience leading supervisions
  • Ability to plan for groups and longer?term activities
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and development
  • Full UK driving licence

This is a 39 hour a week role, working on a rota including evenings and weekends. Sleep ins are available.
