Salary: £38000 + £70 per sleep

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager to oversee a solo EBD home, on the Wirral. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a professional committed to providing high quality care in a supportive environment. The Deputy Manager will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the home, supporting staff, and maintaining compliance with care standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Home Manager in the day-to-day running of the home
• Support children with EBD and challenging behaviours
• Lead and motivate a team of care staff to deliver exceptional person-centered care
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company standards
• Assist in staff training, supervision, and development
• Maintain accurate documentation and records
• Support children and young people, meeting OFSTED standards

Requirements

• Deputy Manager experience
• Knowledge of OFSTED regulations and compliance standards
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Flexibility to work a mixture of on and off-shift patterns, including approximately one sleep shift per week
• Relevant care qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) is preferred
