Children's AP - Assessment Team - Bolton

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Children's Assessment Practitioner to join our dynamic Assessment Team in Bolton. This role is crucial in ensuring the safety and well-being of children and families within our community. As a Children's AP, you will conduct thorough assessments, develop care plans, and work collaboratively with families and other professionals to provide the best outcomes for children in need.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
• Developing and implementing effective intervention strategies and care plans.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.
• Collaborating with multi-agency teams to ensure a holistic approach to child welfare.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

• A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
• Registration with Social Work England.
• Proven experience in children's social work, particularly in assessment and intervention.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and report writing skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a diverse caseload.
