About the Role:
As a Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in providing a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for children and young people with complex needs. You will lead and motivate a team of support workers, ensuring high-quality care and support that promotes positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Leading and supporting a team of residential support workersEnsuring the highest standard of care for children and young peoplePromoting independence, emotional well-being, and social developmentOverseeing care plans, risk assessments, and daily recordsManaging safeguarding concerns and responding appropriatelySupporting staff development through training, guidance, and supervisionWorking closely with external professionals and families
What We're Looking For:
Experience in residential childcare or a similar settingLeadership or supervisory experience within a care environmentA Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards it)Strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection proceduresExcellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skillsPassion for making a positive impact in young people's lives
