Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Assistant (Level 5) to join our growing team on a part-time afternoon shift basis. This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about early childhood development and committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children. As a Childcare Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting children's emotional, social, and cognitive development while working closely with educators and parents to ensure high-quality care and learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide attentive and high-quality care to children in line with early childhood education standards.

  • Support children in daily routines, including meals, hygiene, rest time, and structured play.

  • Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate learning activities and play based programs.

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating learning environment at all times.

  • Observe and record children's progress, behavior, and development.

  • Encourage positive behavior, social interaction, and emotional well being.

  • Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding children's needs and progress.

  • Follow all health, safety, and child protection policies and procedures.

  • Work collaboratively with childcare educators and management staff.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Level 5 qualification in Childcare, Early Childhood Education, or a related field.

  • Strong understanding of child development principles and early learning frameworks.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children.

  • Ability to manage multiple children and tasks simultaneously.

  • Basic first aid and child safety knowledge.

  • Good organizational and time management skills.

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Experience
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience working in a childcare or early learning environment.

  • Experience handling children of different age groups is preferred.

  • Prior experience in part time or shift based childcare roles is an advantage.

Working Hours
  • Part Time Role

  • Afternoon shift: Typically 2:00 PM - 7:00 PM (flexible depending on center needs).

  • Working days may vary based on scheduling requirements.

  • Knowledge of early childhood education policies and best practices.

  • Ability to create engaging learning activities.

  • Strong observation and reporting skills.
