Shoots Training are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking individual to complete their Level 3Childcare Apprenticeship at Storybook Sunningdale.

Our nursery (for ages 3 months - 5 years) is located in a charming old building, full of character with an outdoor space which overlooks green fields.

We are a local independent nursery, with dedicated teachers and a place in the community. Dreamcatcher Childcare provides an environment for children to develop their natural curiosity through positive learning experiences.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating a warm, safe, and engaging environment for young children.
• Support the planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities to encourage learning and development.
• Supervise children during play, meal, and rest times, always ensuring their well-being.
• Work alongside staff to support children's social, emotional, and physical needs.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic setting following health and safety guidelines.
• Observe and record children's progress, reporting to supervisors as required.
• Communicate effectively with children, staff, and parents, fostering positive relationships.

Requirements

• You must be able to gain a clear DBS
• GCSE grades A -C or 4-9 in Maths and English Language, or equivalent are desired

Hours

• Storybook Sunningdale areopen from 08.00-18:00 Monday to Friday
• The successful candidate will be required to work a minimum of 30 hours and up to 40 hoursper week, with shift patterns to be discussed
